YES Energy Solutions Shortlisted as Green Champion Nov 13, 2018

The annual Halifax Business Awards are set to take place fora twelfth year on Friday, and we’re in the running for ‘Green Champion’.

SHEQ Compliance Administrator, Thomas Hoyle, has been nominated for his pro-active approach to ensuring our social values ring true throughout the office. This is alongside the impact we aim to have on communities through our energy saving measures.

YES Energy Solutions won the title at last year’s awards in light of our broad range of energy efficiency work across our partnerships, including with local authorities and our installer network.

The annual event, managed by one of West Yorkshire's leading news publication, the Halifax Courier, celebrates the best in local business. A multitude of local companies will come together to celebrate their latest achievements.

Thomas has been shortlisted in view of his commitment to sustainability, including passing mandatory environmental policies for colleagues to adhere to and developing ideas including a company-wide car share scheme.

YES Energy Solutions has won four industry awards in 2018, including Team of the Year last month at the Women in Housing Awards. InSeptember we were crowed Funding Provider of the Year at the National EnergyEfficiency Awards. Prior to that, our partnership with Redditch Borough Council was awarded in the ‘Large Scale project of the Year’ category at the 2018 WestMidlands Energy Efficiency Awards.
