Emma Blackburn - Heat Hero
Emma Blackburn our projects administrator was recognised as a Heat Hero at the Houses of Parliament in January for her work helping vulnerable residents receive funding to help them afford to heat their homes.

Utility Partner of the Year - Customer Solutions
Attended by over 1,400 professionals, the Utility Week Awards is a highly coveted event that celebrates and rewards performance and innovation across the industry.
We were recognised for helping energy companies provide funding for vulnerable customers in fuel poverty for the installation of A-rated boilers and insulation.
National Energy Efficiency Awards 2019
Project Management Company of the Year
We were awarded Project Management Company of the Year at the National Energy Efficiency Awards in Birmingham on the 27th of September.
YES Energy Solutions were commended for our numerous schemes with councils, charities and housing associations that have helped over 5,000 residents in the last financial year.
Business Development Manager of the Year (Katie Baker)
YES Energy Solutions' Business Development Manager, Katie Baker, achieved second place in the highly contested category.
Katie was recognised for building a wide range of partnerships with energy companies, councils, and housing associations to fund numerous schemes.
Insulation and Fabric Project of the Year
Our project alongside the Ministry of Defence and Amey came third in the Insulation and Fabric Project of the Year category.
The project boasted huge scale, improving over 300 homes of hard working service men, women and their families.
Funding Provider of the Year
Our run of wins for the last two years in the Funding Provider couldn't last, however we were still recognised for our extensive work, receiving a special commendation.
Yorkshire and Humberside Energy Efficiency Awards 2019
Vulnerable Customer Campaigner of the Year
YES Energy Solutions were crowned 'Vulnerable Customer Support Campaigner of the Year' at the Yorkshire and Humberside Energy Efficiency Awards in July.
We were awarded for our multiple Yorkshire energy efficiency schemes in which funding is secured for residents suffering from fuel poverty due to very high fuel bills.
The Trenchard Park regeneration scheme won Large Scale Project of the Year at the South East Energy Efficiency Awards. Amey managed the project alongside Synergize, with YES managing ECO funding, to improve the energy efficiency of 73 Ministry of Defence homes in Bordon, Hampshire.
The scheme installed external wall insulation, loft insulation, and energy efficient windows and doors to properties housing hard working Ministry of Defence personnel and their families.
Finance, Governance or Compliance Team of the Year
YES Energy Solutions' Funding & Compliance team were announced as Team of the Year at the Women in Housing Awards 2018 ceremony at the Old Emirates Trafford in Manchester.
Presented to them by comedian Jo Caulfield, the awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of outstanding women in housing, highlighting the amazing work our team do to ensure the effective delivery and compliance of our energy saving installations.

The award was presented to the team by Sir Lenny Henry at the energy efficiency sector’s largest award ceremony.

YES Energy Solutions topped the category for best Funding Provider at the energy efficiency sector's largest awards ceremony. The team were presented their award by Sir Lenny Henry at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham.
We also got a special commendation in the ‘Project Management Company of the Year’ category.

YES Energy Solutions and North Lincolnshire Council winning Best Housing Initiative at the 2017 APSE Service Awards.
YES Energy Solutions' innovative Park Home insulation scheme with North Lincolnshire Council was named "Best Housing, Regeneration or New Build Initiative" by The Association for Public Service Excellence as part of their 2017 Service Awards.

We were praised for our commitment to supporting vulnerable communities across the country and helping residents reap the benefits of the latest funding opportunities for energy saving installations.
Funding Provider of the Year - 2nd Place
Our funding team was commended at the 2016 National Energy Efficiency & Retrofit Awards for their dedication to helping SME installers develop their businesses. YES Energy Solutions came second place for Funding Provider of the Year, showing expertise in building a robust national supply chain and funding platform for accredited contractors.
Project Management Company of the Year - 3rd Place
Our project management capabilities were celebrated at the 2016 National Energy Efficiency & Retrofit Awards where we came third place in the Project Management category. This accolade highlights a successful year of innovative area based schemes, helping a range of different communities save energy and money.
Our Domestic Sales Manager, Ian Calvert was selected as one of 15 winners from a pool of over 60 entries at the NEA Heat Hero Awards. He was praised for going over and above the call of duty, helping vulnerable householders improve the thermal efficiency of their Park Homes. Ian ensured that people in the greatest of need were prioritised and even carried out some of the insulation work himself to ensure resident received maximum benefits.
YES Energy Solutions’ Heat Pumps for Park Homes scheme with Paynes Plumbing and Heating and Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council won Partnership of the Year at the Worcester E2020 Awards. The project helped a series of Park Home residents living off the mains gas network, embrace the benefits of renewable heating. 30 Air to Air Heat Pump units were installed at Attwood Close Park near Basingstoke town centre.
