YES Energy Solutions crowned energy efficiency champions Sep 10, 2018

YES Energy Solutions was named ‘Funding Provider of the Year’ for the second year in a row at the National Energy Efficiency Awards lastFriday.

The rewarding trip to Birmingham saw the team bring back two trophies to add to our bulging awards cabinet.

This is the first instance in which an organisation has taken the Funding Provider crown two years on the trot, with our Head ofOperations, Katie Baker, finishing second place in the ‘Best Business DevelopmentManager’ category.

The awards were presented by the popular comic and national treasure, Sir Lenny Henry.

The National Energy Efficiency Awards recognise the great work that takes place within the energy saving sector, and is attended by hundreds of industry specialists including installers, manufacturers, community organisations and local authorities.

As a funding provider, YES Energy Solutions work in partnership with major Energy Companies to channel funding into schemes and installations to help vulnerable people living in fuel poverty keep warm and comfortable for less.

Katie, who also heads up our funding team, was over the moon with the outcome:

“In the last year, we have really come together to perfect the way we do things to make our working processes simple and effective.

“The way we work as a team means that we all really enjoy what we do, and it’s a great feeling when the difference we make across communities is recognised in this way.”

During the last financial year, YES Energy Solutions funded over 5000 energy saving installs, allowing for lifetime fuel bill savings for vulnerable residents totalling in excess of £47M.

Over the last four years, YES Energy Solutions has won 11 industry awards. We have continuously been recognised for the impact our work has on communities and the lives of vulnerable residents across the UK.
