The Trenchard Park regeneration scheme won Large Scale Project of the Year at the South East Energy Efficiency Awards in Gatwick on Friday May 31.
The scheme installed external wall insulation, loft insulation, and energy efficient windows and doors to properties housing hard working Ministry of Defence personnel and their families.
Amey managed the project alongside Synergize Ltd to improve the energy efficiency of 73 Ministry of Defence homes in Bordon, Hampshire.
The project was mostly funded by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, with YES Energy Solutions supplying supplementary ECO funding to support budgets.
We also managed the compliance processes of the scheme and carried out technical monitoring on the properties to ensure the project maintained a 100% pass rate for the installations.
Duncan McCombie, CEO of YES Energy Solutions, said: "This project supported hard working Ministry of Defence personnel, ensuring that they have warm comfortable homes for their families, and we are delighted that it has been recognised by this award."
Mark Loftus, Manging Director of Synergize said: "This is a great outcome for Synergize, I'm very proud of the team that made this possible."
The award follows recent award success for YES Energy Solutions in the South West Regional Energy Efficiency Awards with our Park Home Scheme with EDF and Teinbridge District Council winning Small Scale Project of the Year.
