Funding is available for energy efficiency improvements to homes in North Yorkshire at no cost to residents.
Scheme in detail
YES Energy Solutions is working with North Yorkshire County Council to provide residents in Hambleton, Ryedale and Scarborough borough with fully funded home improvements.
The upgrades will help reduce energy bills, keep homes warmer and reduce carbon emissions.
Coordinated by the Yorkshire Energy Hub with funding coming from the Government; Hambleton District Council, Ryedale District Council and Scarborough Borough Council are each playing a significant role in the scheme as part of a consortium.
Homeowners and private renters can apply if they think they meet the eligibility criteria and their property is suitable.
Landlords must make a contribution to cover a minimum of one third of the total costs of the measures installed.
Our teams are qualifying residents and coordinating surveys and installs on behalf of the council.
Are you eligible?
The schemes will help residents living in homes with poor energy efficiency ratings who also have a low income.
To qualify householders must:
Have a household income of £30,000 or less,
Receive income related benefits
Is your property eligible?
You must also live in a property with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of E, F, G.
(EPC band D is accepted if there's fewer than 30% D rated properties signed up to the scheme).
