We worked with Green Deal approved installers on the Leeds City Region's latest large scale energy efficiency scheme.

The extensive £21 Million programme aimed to install energy saving measures in over 12,000 homes across 10 Local Authority areas in Yorkshire.

The Leeds City Region retro fit project created new jobs and apprenticeships, as well as support existing jobs across the area.

Eligibility Criteria:

Installers based in the Leeds City Region were encouraged to apply. All companies must have been PAS2030 accredited for the measures they wished to install.

PAS2030 is an industry qualification which demonstrates an installer’s competence in the measures they cover.

Leeds City Region Home Energy Scheme

10 Local Authorities worked together to launch a large scale energy efficiency scheme in the Leeds City Region.

The Leeds City Region is the largest City Region economy outside of London, with a population of over 3 million.

Over the next three years, these proactive Local Authorities will help improve the energy efficiency standards of more than 12,000 households.

As part of the region’s commitment to create new jobs and boost the local economy, hundreds of installers got the chance to join the supply chain and work under the programme.
