Our parent company – Yorkshire Energy Services (YES) has been shortlisted as a finalist at the prestigious 2014 Yorkshire Post Environment Awards.

The Yorkshire Post is Yorkshire and Humber’s largest news publication. Every year the paper celebrates proactive organisations that show commitment to saving energy across the region.

YES has been entered into the ‘Best Environmental Business’ category following an action packed year of home efficiency installations and community schemes.

During the past 12 months, the company has partnered with a multitude of local Yorkshire & Humber businesses to install more than 3,800 energy efficiency improvements in residential homes.

YES Energy Solutions is the installations arm of the business. We are a wholly owned subsidiary and have delivered a significant amount of the company’s installations across Yorkshire. As external solid wall insulation specialists, we have been running a series of schemes with YES that have helped local residents slash fuel bills and improve their home’s thermal efficiency.

This year’s awards ceremony will be held at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on Monday 16th June.
