YES wins award for supporting rehabilitation charity Jul 18, 2022

Vulnerable Customer Support award

YES recently won the Vulnerable Customer Support award at The Yorkshire and Humberside Energy Efficiency Awards.

We won the award for our project with rehabilitation charity Alpha House Calderdale which installed central heating in 10 properties.

Alpha House Calderdale help people struggling with addiction through a structured rehabilitation programme, housing them in secure accommodation which underwent improvements to the heating systems through our project.

The evening was held at Cedar Court in Huddersfield and brought together energy efficiency companies and installers from across the region to celebrate achievements in the industry.

Katie Baker, Head of Operations and a huge part of the team at YES, said:

“Winning this award demonstrates that companies working together can produce amazing results for charities to give something back to the community.

“When Alpha House approached us to ask if we could help, we were more than happy to pledge funding to upgrade their properties’ heating facilities to benefit their residents.”
