YES partner with local councils to provide fully funded home improvements Jul 28, 2022

Scarborough, Ryedale and Hambleton district council funding

Scarborough, Ryedale and Hambleton district councils have secured funding to help residents improve the warmth and efficiency of their homes.

The government funding is available through the North Yorkshire Home Efficiency Fund which aims to provide heating measures to help combat rising energy bills.

Up to £25,000 in funding is available, however most properties will receive upgrades of around £10,000.

Householders and private renters are able to apply for the full funding whilst landlords must contribute at least one third of the total costs.

To be eligible for the scheme householders must either be in receipt of means tested benefits or receive an annual income of £30,000 or less.

You must also have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D, E, F or G, if you do not have an EPC one can be arranged through the scheme.

YES Energy Solutions is responsible for qualifying residents for the scheme, and utilising a network of accredited installers to complete installations.

For more information or to qualify for the scheme call 01422 880 100 or fill out a contact form.
