Our compliance girls were named ‘Team of the Year’ at the2018 Women in Housing Awards.

This is the second accolade YES Energy Solutions has won in two months (having won Funding Provider of the Year at the National Energy Efficiency Awards in September), demonstrating our skills, experience and commitment to effective governance within the energy efficiency industry.

The Women in Housing awards celebrate the achievements of outstanding women in the housing sector. And it was our funding and compliance team, consisting of 18 female professionals that topped the charts as ‘Finance,Governance or Compliance Team of the Year.’

Seven nominations were shortlisted in the category, and we faced some tough competition from the likes of Wellingborough Homes and Bernicia Group.

YES Energy Solutions have helped thousands of vulnerable householders keep warm for less through our broad range of energy efficiency services. This includes securing funding through the Government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO)programme to support installations fulfilled by a national installer network.

Our compliance team play a vital role in the validation process, ensuring all funding submissions are compliant, professional and inline with regulatory standards. The girls work tirelessly to ensure the process between funding and installation runs like clockwork.

The dedication shown by the team in ensuring installations are delivered effectively to help the most vulnerable in society was the winning ticket for our ladies, and in a male dominated industry, this is an outstanding achievement.

“As I’ve watched the team grow over the last few years, it’s clear to see that each person really cares about the positive work we do to support the most vulnerable householders, ensuring we have the right installer relationships whilst supporting our energy company partners to exceed their ECO obligations.

"There is never any hesitation from the team when we need to put in the extra hours to ensure we: meet our targets, help people in desperate situations and deliver our social mission to reduce fuel poverty and climate change across the country.”
