As we step into spring the cost of living remains high and many households are struggling with their energy bills as standing charges rise and energy debt reaches a record figure of £3.1 billion.

In response to the continued pressure on household bills, energy experts and community interest company YES Energy Solutions have allocated over £250,000 of its profits for purpose to a dedicated Warmer Homes Fund – provided to give immediate relief for mounting energy debts and additional funding for home improvements.

YES Energy Solutions is helping residents across the country with funds to make homes warmer and greener whilst combatting fuel debt in the community. The YES Warmer Homes Fund can assist with up to £250 to help combat fuel debt for eligible households up until 31 March.

Payments depend on how the household pays for energy and include payments direct to energy suppliers, fuel vouchers to help people using prepayment meters, and contributions towards the costs of oil and bottled gas.

To check eligibility, householders can simply send a text with the word ADVICE to 82228. This simple step starts a friendly conversation to help identify whether you can benefit from energy debt relief or home upgrades like wall or loft insulation.
