Staff celebrate Halloween to support Overgate Hospice Oct 31, 2019

YES Energy Solutions employees put on their scariest outfits to raise money for Calderdale’s Overgate Hospice.

Overgate Hospice provide end of life care and help for people with life-limiting illnesses and were chosen by staff.

The office was populated with skeletons, witches, monsters and more as the working day continued.

Games, including a competitive pumpkin carving contest, were played throughout the day with the aim to collect as much money as possible for the cause.

Overgate Hospice was chosen by YES Energy Solutions employees as many of their family and friends had relied on the charity.

YES employee, Karina Booth said: “Overgate Hospice did a wonderful job in caring for my mum, and their staff do great work in helping so many people.”

“I’m so pleased that my colleagues are raising money today, especially as it’s a cause that’s close to lots of us.”

Faye Henderson, Head of Fundraising at Overgate Hospice said: “Overgate Hospice relies on generous donations from the public to help fund the vital care we give to patients.”

“Fundraising days run by companies go a long way to helping us raise the money we need, and we are delighted that YES Energy Solutions have chosen to fundraise for us today.”
