Our 25 birthday May 20, 2025

We’ve officially hit a major milestone- 25 years of helping people live in warmer, greener homes.

Since day one, our mission has been clear: support those who need it most. Every day, we work with individuals and families who are facing impossible choices, like whether to heat their homes or put food on the table. That’s why we do what we do.

We’ve worked hand-in-hand with local authorities, housing providers, and community partners to deliver real impact where it’s needed most - bringing energy-saving solutions to the people who need them.

Our CEO Duncan had this to say -

"On Monday 12 May, YES celebrated our twenty fifth birthday. With faces from the past and present and birthday messages from customers and clients, it was a great time to reflect.

The emotion for me came when I read out the slide of "number of people supported". In 25 years we have made a deep and positive difference to the lives of almost 85,000 people. For a business of just 20 people a few years ago, we can hold our heads up (and wipe away the slight tear that there are still so many more needing support).

We had cake and then a cone from the ice cream van before a quick picture then back to our rewarding work".
