YES Energy Solutions has won ‘Funding Provider of the Year’ at the 2017 National Energy Efficiency and Healthy Homes Awards.

What a month!

Three weeks after winning an APSE Service Award for our scheme with North Lincolnshire Council, we topped the board again for our funding facilities at the national awards ceremony held in Birmingham.

Duncan McCombie (CEO) and Katie Baker (Senior Operations Manager) attended the prestigious event which was held on the 29th September at the majestic Hilton Metropole Hotel with over 400 energy efficiency professionals.

The team got to meet Sir Lenny Henry who hosted the ceremony. He congratulated us on a busy and productive year of ECO funding provision.

We also got a special commendation in the ‘Project Management Company of the Year’ category.

Winning Funding Provider of the Year is of particular importance, as it is one of the company’s core business areas. In fact during the last financial year we funded over 4,700 installs, helping residents save a combined £54Million in lifetime fuel savings.

Through our ECO facilities we help a national network of SME contractors access funding to support their customers and develop their operations. Last year we worked with 53 SME installers.

Katie Baker, who heads up our Funding Team, was delighted with the award win. She explained:

“Winning this award really is a fantastic achievement for the company. ECO provision is a complicated process, especially when you work with a broad range of partners. But over the years we have perfected our processes and developed a growing and dedicated team of funding experts."

Over the last three years YES Energy Solutions has won 8 industry awards.

The National Energy Efficiency and Healthy Homes Awards is the largest ceremony in the energy saving sector. It’s attended by hundreds of installers, manufacturers, community organisations and local authorities.
