Staff at YES Energy Solutions dressed up as all things spooky today as we continued our mission to fight fuel poverty.

Historically, the last day of October marks Hallows Eve, a day for honouring the souls of those who have passed. Over time its popularity has grown, and it’s now a community celebration with Pumpkins, decorations and fancy dress trick-or-treaters.

At YES Energy Solutions we love to celebrate the spookiest holiday season, and we’ve embraced the day of fancy dress to raise money for the baby charity, Tommy’s.

From skeletons and witches to Harley Quinn and a dead where’sWally, competition was fierce for the ‘best dressed’ top spot. The voting continues throughout the day, we’ll keep you posted on the winning outfit!

Staff who didn’t get in to the Halloween spirit face the consequences, including hefty fines in aid of raising as much money as possible for Tommy’s.

Un-boo-lievable pumpkins

Given the opportunity to show off their creative skills, staff brought in their carefully carved designs ranging from the trusty triangle mouth and eyes to a Harry Potter inspired Pumpkin.

This isn’t the first time we’ve got in to the fundraising spirit, and we regularly try to raise money for great causes.

In the summer, our open day fundraiser raised around £5,000for charity, as well as our Bake-off competitions and sponsored charity runs.
