Government announces green levy changes Sep 09, 2022

The Government has announced temporary changes to green levies to help relieve consumers of the rising cost of energy.

It is our understanding that the Energy Company Obligation Scheme will continue, however full details are yet to be released.

The costs of ECO, sourced from green levies, are to be removed from consumer energy bills, and instead transferred to the Exchequer.
