Energy Bill Caps will rise in April Feb 25, 2025

A new energy bill cap has been released by Ofgem, the 6.4% increase is a lot higher than expected and YES Energy Solutions is aware of the financial pressure this and we’re here to help.

The increase means that a household using an average amount of gas and electricity will see their annual bill rise by £111 or £9.25 a month, which takes the total bill to £1,849 a year.

It is clear to us that the energy bill increase will hit people’s finances at the same time as the water and the council tax increase, and this is going to cause a significant financial strain.
