Donations of £2 per jumper can cover the cost of antibiotics for five children suffering from pneumonia – which is one of the biggest killers of children.
Staff took the opportunity to hold another bake sale to raise as much money as possible and in total raised over £100 for the charity.
Heidi Hawkins, Marketing Assistant, said:
“Christmas JumperDay is such a good way to raise awareness of the work that Save the Children do.
“Christmas is my favourite time of year and I know a lot of my colleagues would say the same, and wearing our Christmas Jumpers really helped us to feel Christmassy as we continued our mission to fight fuel poverty!”
