Tim Firth - Solar PV

Retired Tim Firth recently had solar pv installed into his property in Barrow-upon-Humber.

He first heard about the North Lincolnshire LAD2 scheme through his friends who recommended YES for home improvements.

Through the scheme Tim was able to get fully funded solar panels from North Lincolnshire council installed into his home which have significantly helped to cut his CO2 emissions and energy bills, this is what he had to say:

“So far the solar panels have been great, they are producing lots of energy for me and they also look fantastic, it was a great help for pensioners in the area”

When asked about the team that handled the installation, he said:

“They were great blokes and I’m very pleased with the work done, they came and everything was up and running that afternoon.

“Darren the supervisor was there through the whole process, I couldn’t fault him.”

Tim finished by saying:

“Everything was great with the team over the phone as well, in the end I cant fault anything, we were able to get solar panels and the new consumer unit!”
