Karolyn Kitching - Solar PV

Retired Carolyn Kitching recently received £23,000 in funding for the installation of Solar PV and an Air Source Heat Pump installed through the HUG2 scheme in partnership with North Yorkshire Council.

We caught up with Carolyn to ask how everything went with her recent installation.

“I have lived in my home for 12 years, right now it’s just me and my two cats.

“After hearing about you through a letter in the post I decided to give you a call.

“Since the installation of my Solar PV, I have noticed a huge difference in my electricity bill.

“I’m able to sell my electricity back to Octopus and my last bill was only £1.50, I was very happy.

“Before the Solar and my new Air Source Heat Pump I was using Oil to heat my home, thanks to the upgrades my home has never been so warm.

“I’m also pleased with the way they look; everything has been kept neat, tidy and out of the way.

“The team over the phone were very respectful and the installers all cleaned up after themselves, the only issue is they ate all my biscuits.

“I have already recommended you to my friends, you provide a fabulous service and I hope you get lots more customers.”
