Victoria, Room in Roof Insulation, North Yorkshire HUG2

“I live alone, it’s just myself in the house,” says Victoria. We spoke with her after the funded installation of Room in Roof insulation was completed on her home in Leyburn, North Yorkshire.

“I must admit, I can’t remember how I first heard about the project, but I remember being interested when I heard that I could be offered the grant to help make my home warmer.

“Everything has gone really smooth. There was some disruption whilst the room in roof insulation was being put together – but that was to be expected with the kind of work it is. The communication with the team has been fine.

“The teams have always been very polite, and very easy to talk to. It’s important to make sure that you are approachable, and you are relatable to people with this type of work – and the team were just that.

“I have immediately noticed the affect it has had on the home When I walked upstairs, I could feel the heat – it was like the house had been wrapped up in a warm blanket!

“I would recommend YES, and getting the work done. I’m very impressed with it and grateful for the work.”
