Linda Heath - Gas Boiler Replacement

Having baffled engineers for years with her antique heating system, Linda knew that it was time she replaced her old boiler. At 74 years of age, Linda’s health is not what it once was, so keeping the property warm and comfortable is extremely important.

"I did worry that if anything went wrong with the boiler it would be a great expense with it being so old" explained Linda. "I really feel the cold as I have rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis, so I need to be snug all of the time. I first found out about the YES Energy Solutions’ heating scheme in my local community magazine. There was a piece about the help available with a telephone number to call."

YES Energy Solutions ran a regional central heating project on behalf of Hampshire County Council using funding from the Department of Energy and Climate Change. Following a technical survey, Linda was given a full grant to cover her installation costs.

"The offer of a new boiler came at the right time. I knew that it was going to save me money and make me warmer. It was just too good an offer to turn down!"

Since having the new boiler installed, Linda has been able to reap the benefits of a warmer home for less.

"I have noticed such a difference with the new system. It heats up quickly and the whole house is nice and warm. No longer do I have to go around changing the temperature settings on each radiator. It’s so much better than the old system."

Mrs Heath is confident that her new boiler is going to keep her warm, comfortable and save her money.
