Ben - West Yorkshire Home Advice

Ben recently had a visit from one of our friendly surveyors who talked him through the best way to improve his home's energy efficiency.

Once the surveyor had finished, Ben received a £20 Love2Shop voucher as a thank you for taking the time to speak to us, this is what he had to say:

“I’m a manager at a local tourist attraction and have lived in my house for 10 years with my wife.

“I first heard about you through social media and in a leaflet.

“We’ve noticed the kitchen in particular gets very cold during winter. With the home visit, Tom actually could show us what exactly to do with some insulation to help in winter.

“Tom, the advisor was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He was thorough in the visit, explained everything well and we have certainly learned more about energy efficiency and what we can do to help keep our home warm.

“The team over the phone was very friendly and took the time to answer any questions thoroughly and clearly.

“The advice has had a big impact on how I use my heating from simple acts like where to place our thermostat, to bigger projects that we can still do ourselves such as the work on the cellar.

“As our home is hard to treat we are not likely to get any major work done – so the smaller and manageable advice we received from the advice visit helps a lot.

“the whole team is friendly and approachable. It’s something that you don’t really know without asking a professional and it was even better with the free home visit as they could clearly see and help advise on bespoke advice for my home.”
