How long will the job take?

Timescales can vary depending on the size of system and your property's accessibility. Typically, after a survey has been carried out, most Biomass Boiler installations are completed within 2 working days.

What am I likely to save with a biomass boiler?

This depends on your current circumstances, the fuel you use to heat your home, the level of insulation already in your home and the amount of space you have available for the installation. The Energy Saving Trust suggest that a wood-fuelled biomass boiler could save up to £600 a year when replacing electric heating.

What will I need to do to maintain the system?

Biomass Boilers are pretty straight forward to maintain. They will need to be kept clean and swept regularly to remove ash.
