Scheme in Detail

The ECO-Flex scheme from Swansea Council aims to support households who are vulnerable to the effects of a cold home and live in inefficient housing.

Eligible residents may be able to receive funding towards energy efficiency home improvements which include:

• A-rated central heating system
• Heating system upgrades
• Loft insulation / Room in roof insulation
• Cavity wall insulation
• External wall insulation

Swansea Council have appointed a framework to manage scheme enquiries and installs which includes City Energy and YES Energy Solutions.

Residents qualifying for the scheme can improve the energy efficiency of their home and save money on their energy bills.

Do you qualify?

If you are an owner-occupier or renting privately and your home is currently energy inefficient, you may qualify for funding if you meet the following qualifying criteria:

Your home must be energy inefficient and either

1. Your household spending on fuel bills is greater than 10% of your income

or

2. You have a low household income and vulnerable to the effects of living in a cold property
