Eligible residents could receive fully funded energy efficiency measures
up to a value of £10,000 to improve the warmth of their property and reduce
their fuel bills.
Coordinated by the Midlands Energy Hub, there is a number of schemes set
to launch by local authorities in the area, with available insulation and low
carbon heating measures for householders differing throughout the region.
The schemes will be open to private renters and social housing tenants
as well as homeowners, however landlords will be required to make a
contribution to cover a third of the costs.

The awarded capital originates from the Government's £500m drive to help local
authorities improve the energy efficiency of low-income homes in their area.
The schemes will help residents living in homes
with poor energy efficiency ratings who also have a low income.
To qualify householders must:
1.
Have a household
income of £30,000 or less (including housing costs and benefit payments)
and,
2.
Live in a property with
an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of E, F, G, or D (if there's
fewer than 50% D rated properties signed up to the scheme).

process for all LAD funding schemes in the region.
We will offer energy efficiency advice and refer eligible residents onto
the appropriate local authority scheme.
