Fully and part funded energy efficiency measures were installed across the county to help residents benefit from reduced energy bills whilst keeping residents warmer in their homes.
The Hertfordshire Warmer Homes Scheme was a programme led by Hertfordshire County Council’s Public Health team and Hertfordshire’s 10 district and borough Councils. The scheme helped homeowners and tenants keep warm for less through the delivery of a wide range of heating and insulation energy efficiency measures.
The scheme enabled eligible residents to access ECO funding to cover or contribute towards the cost of critical home improvements in 10 local authority areas: Broxbourne, Dacorum, East Herts, Hertsmere, NorthHertfordshire, St Albans, Stevenage, Three Rivers, Watford and Welwyn Hatfield.
In November 2018, Hertfordshire County Council appointed YES Energy Solutions to assist with the delivery of the scheme. A broad range of measures will be delivered to eligible households, including:

You could be eligible for free or discounted home energy improvements through the Hertfordshire Warmer Homes Scheme if you:
