YES Energy Solutions is working in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council to assist with the delivery of the Hertfordshire Warmer Homes Scheme.

Scheme In Detail

Fully and part funded energy efficiency measures will be installed across the county to help residents benefit from reduced energy bills whilst keeping residents warmer in their homes.

The Hertfordshire Warmer Homes Scheme is a programme led byHertfordshire County Council’s Public Health team and Hertfordshire’s 10district and borough Councils. The scheme aims to help homeowners and tenants keep warm for less through the delivery of a wide range of heating and insulation energy efficiency measures.

The scheme enables eligible residents to access ECO funding to cover or contribute towards the cost of critical home improvements in 10Local Authority areas: Broxbourne, Dacorum, East Herts, Hertsmere, NorthHertfordshire, St Albans, Stevenage, Three Rivers, Watford and Welwyn Hatfield.

Our Involvement

In November 2018, Hertfordshire County Council appointed YESEnergy Solutions to assist with the delivery of the scheme. A broad range of measures will be delivered to eligible households, including:

  • Boiler Replacements (Gas, Oil, LPG)
  • Gas central heating systems
  • Electric Storage Heaters upgrades
  • Loft Insulation
  • Room-in-roof insulation
  • Cavity Wall Insulation
  • External Wall Insulation
  • Underfloor Insulation

At completion, the scheme aims to reduce health and wellbeing risks for residents as a result of improving a total of 700 homes, with an estimated 125 installations to be fulfilled by May 2019.

  • Child Benefit with a household income below the relevant threshold:
