Funding is available for energy efficiency improvements to homes in Leicestershire at no cost to residents.


Scheme in detail

The Home Upgrade Grant is now closed to new applications

YES Energy Solutions is working with district councils in Leicestershire to provide residents with fully funded home improvements for residents who use electric, oil or solid fuel to heat their homes.

Green Living Leicestershire will help reduce energy bills, keep homes warmer and reduce carbon emissions.

The schemes are coordinated by the Midlands Energy Hub with funding coming from the Government.

Homeowners and private renters can apply if they think they meet the eligibility criteria and their property is suitable.

Your landlord must make a contribution to cover a minimum of one third of the total costs of the measures installed.

Our teams are qualifying residents and coordinating surveys and installs on behalf of the councils.

Councils include:

  • Blaby District Council
  • Charnwood Borough Council
  • Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council
  • Harborough District Council
  • Melton Borough Council
  • North West Leicestershire District Council

Leicester City Council is not taking part in this scheme.
