YES Energy Solutions has been shortlisted as a finalist in the National Heating & Ventilation (H&V) Awards.
The company has been nominated under the ‘Collaboration of the Year’ category to mark the success of the recent partnership with leading boiler manufacturer Glow-wormand regional Housing Association emh homes.
The partnership was selected for its ethical approach to affordable heating. For the past 4 months, the three organisations have been developing an innovative central heating programme to support low income householders struggling with energy costs. A community pool fund has been established to enable householders who don’t quite meet the criteria for the Government's ECO scheme, to make central heating improvement without breaking the bank.
The H&V awards ceremony takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on the 24th of April. YES Energy Solutions will join hundreds of industry professionals to showcase the best of domestic heating developments and groundbreaking schemes.
YES Energy Solutions’ National Heating Services Manager, Beverly Thorp is delighted that the company has been shortlisted for such a prestigious award, she explained:
"Getting this recognition is a fantastic achievement for our partnership. It shows that our ethical approach to central heating installations is being acknowledged at a national level. The main aim of our partnership with Glow-worm and emh homes is to support some of the most vulnerable residents and help alleviate Fuel Poverty.
"Winning the award would be great, but just to get nominated shows how far our partnership has grown. We hope to develop the programme further to help even more householders achieve affordable home heating."
So far hundreds of householders in Yorkshire and the East Midlands have benefited from the partnership and improved the energy efficiently of their homes. YES Energy Solutions is now discussing the opportunity for rolling out the scheme in other key areas.
