YES launch Energy Efficient Home Scheme with NHDC to slash residents' fuel bills May 24, 2021

YES Energy Solutions has teamed up with North Herts District Council (NHDC) to launch a scheme that will help people in North Herts warm their homes.

The NHDC Energy Efficient Home Scheme provides free or discounted energy saving solutions to those who are eligible for assistance.

Installation of energy efficiency saving measures include:

• A-rated boiler upgrade
• Cavity wall insulation
• Loft insulation
• renewable energy

Funding may be available for those applying, and energy saving advice may also be provided for successful applicants included in the scheme.

To be eligible for the scheme, residents must be in receipt of certain state benefits, or be under specific household income thresholds and either have young children, be elderly or have certain health conditions.

Ian Fullstone, NHDC Service Director - Regulatory said: “In these difficult times when finances are stretched and we are spending more time in our homes, it is important to have a warm, energy efficient home to live in.

"Not only will measures introduced by the scheme save homeowners money, but they will also help the environment through reduced energy use, so do get in touch if you think you may be eligible to find out how the scheme could help you.”

YES Energy Solutions will help residents through the qualifying process and arrange installation through their industry accredited installer network.
