YES Energy Solutions are in the running for The West Midlands Energy Efficiency Awards 2018 Mar 12, 2018

We’ve been shortlisted!

The West Midlands Energy Efficiency Awards 2018 are set to take place later in March, and we’re excited to announce that YES Energy Solutions have been shortlisted for an award.

Our ongoing work with Redditch Borough Council has been recognised, and it’s our External Wall Insulation scheme that has been nominated for the ‘Regional Large Scale Project (>250k) of the Year’ award.

The scheme saw us appointed as the project manager of the programme, and aimed to improve the look and feel of a cluster of solid wall homes in the Redditch area of Worcestershire.

External Wall Insulation helps to trap heat in the home and reduce the chance of it escaping, which can have a direct effect on reducing the cost of fuel bills for those residents who find themselves spending excess amounts on energy costs.

Katie Baker, Head of Operations at YES Energy Solutions who led the scheme, told us:

“It’s great to be recognised for the hard work we’ve put in to this scheme alongside Redditch Borough Council and SFP Contracts, since 2016.

“External Wall Insulation is a great service that we can provide, and we’ve had lots of feedback from residents to tell us how External Wall Insulation can really improve the look and feel of your home.”

The award ceremony will take place on March 22nd at the Double Tree Hilton in Coventry, and we have everything crossed – so watch this space!
