YES customer advisor a cut above for children's charity Jul 14, 2021

Project Administrator Katie Redhead took a short cut to help the Little Princess Trust on 10 July, donating her hair and raising money for the charity.

Katie parted from her long locks, donating a total of 22 inches of hair.

The charity supports children suffering from hair loss due to cancer treatment or other conditions by providing real hair wigs.

Katie said: "I've felt like a princess with my long hair, so I'll be happy if I can do the same for a little child!

The Little Princess Trust also supports academics and organisation with funding to research causes of paediatric cancer.

An additional highlight for Katie is that she raised £375 for the Little Princess Trust in a cut and dried feat of goodwill.

"I've been blown away with the support and happy to be able to raise the money I have as well!"

Katie works in YES' projects team, helping vulnerable customers through the qualifying process to access funding for energy efficiency home improvements.
