YES Energy Solutions has been appointed to manage Ryedale District Council’s latest energy efficient programme.

The Ryedale Energy Saver Scheme helps local residents access a range of grants and loans for home insulation and heating improvements.

Homeowners and private renting tenants on lower incomes that struggle to keep on top of their energy bills can access a range of support to keep the cold at bay.

Funding can be used for critical home improvements including cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, boiler upgrades and even full central heating systems.

The scheme is designed to help vulnerable residents improve their health conditions and reduce fuel poverty across the district.

Ryedale is a Local Authority area in North Yorkshire covering many rural towns and villages including: Helmsley, Malton, Norton-on-Derwent and Pickering.

The scheme uses a mixture of Council grants and finance packages, as well as Energy Company funding via the Government’s ECO scheme.

By blending different funding channels together, householders across the district will be able to reduce their energy bills, keep warm during the winter and cut their carbon footprint.
