Duncan McCombie took the helm in early November from Andrew Herbert who has decided to focus on a new business challenge.

With a long and diverse background in the utility sector and sustainable energy industry, Duncan was the ideal man for the job.

Not only has he worked for influential organisations, such as Thames Water and Energy & Utility Skills, but was recently the Director of Operations at the Energy Saving Trust in Wales and Ireland.

Duncan is a passionate businessman, committed to reducing fuel poverty and supporting vulnerable householders, whist growing the organisation and building a sustainable long term commercial future.

He is delighted to join the team and keen to make his mark. He explained:

Duncan has replaced Andrew Herbert, who after nearly three years in charge of YES Energy Solutions will be undertaking his next business transformation.

During his time with the company, Andrew guided the organisation through a challenging period of economic uncertainty and change.

Through his leadership and commitment to the cause, YES Energy Solutions has strengthened significantly, secured large funding contracts, developed proactive partnerships with Housing Associations and Local Authorities and won a host of respected industry awards.

The company is sad to see Andrew go, but excited to move forward with Duncan as our new leader.
