Money raised for Mind in Bradford’s Women Wellbeing Service.
The Mother’s
Day celebrations involved the whole family, with staff’s kids getting involved
by drawing the company’s mascot Percy Penguin.
Staff took
part in quizzes and games to help raise money for the mental health charity.
The day
follows a series of fundraisers by staff at the company, raising over £350 for
the charity in the past year.
Lydia Gray,
Fundraising and Development Officer at Mind in Bradford, explained: “It’s great to see our women’s services
supported with fundraising efforts like these as without which we could not
offer the help that is crucial to so many.”
Duncan
McCombie, CEO of YES Energy Solutions, said: “Our staff have supported Mind in Bradford with enthusiasm this year,
and it’s been great to see families get involved in charity.
“The drawings are fantastic and
they’ve brought some fun to the office at a time when we’ve seen a busy period
for our services in the wake of the energy crisis.”
Mind in Bradford was chosen by our staff with many having personal stories of friends and family requiring mental health support.
