If you install energy saving measures and are based in Yorkshire, you could qualify for funding to contribute towards your PAS2030 certification and become an accredited Green Deal Installer.
With this essential qualification, your business will be able to work under Government approved schemes such as the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), as well as get the opportunity to win work on a major Leeds City Region installations programme.

This subsidised training package is funded through the Green Deal Communities programme, which is one of the latest initiatives established by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). Organisations across the Leeds City Region are working in partnership to help small to medium sized installers up skill and increase productivity at a local and regional level.
How to Register
To join the programme, your organisation must be registered with the YES Installer Network, have less than 250 employees and be based within the Leeds City Region catchment area (see details below).
Express your interest in joining the Leeds City Region Green Deal Installer Training Programme (simply check the relevant box at the bottom of Section B in your profile)
Once you have completed these three simple steps, you will be contacted by an administrator who will verify your details, assess your companies requirements, check your eligibility and book you on the training programme.

10 Local Authorities are working together to implement a major £21 Million retro fit project in the Leeds City Region.
The scheme plans to improve the energy efficiency of more than 12,000 households. Over the next three years, thousands of Yorkshire residents will get the chance to save energy and money - and you could help them!

This fantastic training opportunity is brought to you by Construction & Housing Yorkshire, a proactive charity who is working in partnership with the Leeds City Region, Green Deal Installer Network, Stroma Certification, Easy Green Deal and the National Centre of Refurbishment Excellence (CoRE).
By joining the programme you will be able to access a significant discount towards your PAS2030 accreditation (an industry qualification worth around £2,000 for only £350 + VAT).
Also included in the package is the opportunity to win work on a major Leeds City Region retro fit scheme – a £21 Million project which aims to install energy saving measures in over 12,000 homes.
