Fighting Fuel Poverty with E.ON Nov 13, 2015

Since winning an ECO funding contract with E.ON, YES Energy Solutions has supported the developments of several SME installation firms and helped hundreds of householders out of fuel poverty.

Helping Communities E.ON awarded us the contract back in April 2015. This has enabled us to make hundreds of heating and insulation installs affordable for low income families and help vulnerable residents take control of their energy bills.

Under this scheme we have funded around 450 energy saving measures which will help residents save over £11,900,000 in heating costs over the lifetime of the installations.

Our work is funded through E.ON’s Home Heating Cost Reduction Obligation (HHCRO), the ECO strand designed to improve affordable warmth for the most vulnerable householders.

Putting SMEs first

All of our installations are fulfilled by SME contractors. Since winning the E.ON contract we have funded 15 SME installers, handpicked through our Green Deal Installer Hub.

New Opportunities

Our contract with E.ON runs to the end of the Government’s ECO scheme in March 2017. We are always looking for new partners with experience of HHCRO funded works. So if you know or represent an insulation or heating installer that’s looking for funding, please visit our installer network today.
