ECO Homes Competition Winner May 15, 2017

YES Energy Solutions sponsored this year’s design challenge, which saw hundreds of school children explore the benefits of energy efficiency.

Pupils from across the country created fun and compelling posters to demonstrate the importance of insulation, efficient heating and renewable energy.

Rachel Walsh, a 12 year old from Margaret Beaufort School in Bedford won the competition having wowed the judges with her colourful and engaging design.

Jan Maskell of Scientists for Global Responsibility who run Science4Society Week, presented Rachel with her certificate in May.

This competition is a great way to get young people involved and interested in energy efficiency. YES Energy Solutions would like to say a big ‘well done’ to all the applicants.
