During the last few months YES Energy Solutions has helped householders save more tonnes of CO2 than the combined weight of 6,000 African elephants!

Through our Funded Partners programme, 972 energy saving installations were carried out in September and October as part of the Government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO)* scheme.

We have worked closely with major Energy Companies to support the activity of 11 SME installers, which has helped saved over 41,000 tonnes of carbon through home insulation improvements alone.

When YES Energy Solutions became an official Green Deal Provider back in 2013, we set out to support smaller contractors that may not have the resources or capacity to establish their own funding mechanisms. 

We wanted to help local installers compete with larger corporations which in turn helps create jobs and boost local economies.

We have since worked closely with our Energy Company partners and procured major ECO delivery contracts. This funding is then passed onto our installer network. Not only has this enabled us to support the development of a number of smaller contractors, but install a multitude of energy saving improvements in people’s homes from all corners of the UK.

As and when future funding opportunities develop, we try our best to extend our support and create new installer partnerships. Through our Installer Network we connect with hundreds of SMEs and use this platform to advance our funded partner programme.

As anyone working in the energy efficiency industry will appreciate, keeping up to date with the latest ECO rules and regulation can be tricky - especially for smaller companies. Not only do we consistently monitor all our partner installations through our compliance team, but we also publish the latest policy updates on our Hub via a monthly e-shot. This way all of our network is up to date and more importantly, the householders we support get a quality, industry approved service.

*The ECO scheme offers grant aid support for various energy saving installations. Funding is divided into different categories depending on each householder’s circumstances, property type or location.
