A faster way to get your £150 energy bill rebate Mar 03, 2022

Households could receive their £150 energy rebate payment faster with a direct debit to pay their council tax.

As part of the £9.1 billion Energy Bills Rebate package households in Council Tax Bands A to D can secure their payment from their local authority from April this year.

This was announced to help households with rising energy bills that will affect customers across the UK throughout 2022 and onwards.

Councillor Shaun Davies reassured that for those with no direct debits, they will still get the money but it could take longer.
