YES Energy Solutions are helping over 100 eligible residents in the Ryedale, Scarborough and Hambleton districts, transform their heating facilities with the installation of fully funded gas-powered central heating systems.
The project, fronted by North Yorkshire County Council, will see the installation of fully funded gas-powered central heating systems over the period of 18 months.
The funding is secured from National Grid's £150m Warm Homes Fund, a unique programme administered by Affordable Warmth Solutions and only available to Local Authorities and Housing Associations, of which North Yorkshire County Council was successful in the latest round of bidding.
This is combined with ECO funding, as well as match funding provided from Ryedale District Council, Hambleton District Council and Scarborough Borough Council.
YES Energy Solutions will manage the scheme which will help vulnerable residents that are eligible, tackling fuel poverty in the North Yorkshire area.
The funding will support 108 central heating installations, with 20 installs for homeowners in Ryedale, Scarborough Borough, and Hambleton respectively, in addition to 48 installs for private renters across all three of the districts.
John Bradbury, Head of Delivery at YES Energy Solutions, said:
"Tackling fuel poverty is paramount to our work and this scheme allows us to use our expertise to help the most vulnerable in the North Yorkshire area.
"We are proud to be managing 108 installs, drawing on our experience with working with accredited installers to provide the greatest benefits for the people in need."
Residents living in the area are to contact YES Energy Solutions if they think that they qualify for the scheme.
