YES Energy Solutions is working with Leicestershire district councils which has secured LAD3 and HUG1 Government funding to help residents improve the warmth and energy efficiency of their homes.

The funding is available through the Green Living Leicestershire scheme, Leicestershire's new initiative for helping those in fuel poverty.

Over 300 homes could be eligible for 3.6 million in funding towards:

• Loft insulation

• Cavity wall insulation

• External wall insulation

• Solar panels

• Heat pumps

The exact type of improvement you may receive will be dependent on the criteria you are eligible for.

To be eligible you must be a householder, receive an annual income of £30,000 or less or be in receipt of means tested benefits.

Funding is also available for private renting tenants, however in these instances landlords must contribute one third of the total costs.

You must also have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D, E, F, or G, if you do not have one, an EPC can be arranged through us.
