​Staff take part in NEA fuel poverty fundraiser Feb 11, 2020

YES Energy Solutions supported National Energy Action’s (NEA) ‘Housewarming’ fundraising day by coming to work in fancy dress on February 5th to raise money for fuel poverty.

Pyjamas and onesies were worn to help raise money for the charity, and a raffle gave staff a chance to raise money with the bonus of winning a prize.

The Nation’s Biggest Housewarming is an annual charity event run by NEA, which encourages donations to help combat fuel poverty.

Adam Scorer, NEA Chief Executive said: "We should all be able t­­­­o live in a warm and safe home, but rising energy costs, low incomes and cold draughty housing means that for many people this is simply not possible.

"The support of organisations means that our charity can help individuals who are struggling as well as run projects and campaigns to bring affordable warmth for all. I’d like to say a huge thank you to them and everyone else who is taking part."

The fundraising day comes after a year of community volunteering and charity work from staff at YES Energy Solutions.
