​Staff support Suicide Prevention Day Sep 10, 2021

YES Energy Solutions raised money for mental health charity Mind in Bradford on Suicide Prevention Day.

Wearing yellow to match the colours of the Suicide Prevention Day Awareness ribbon, the team threw a bake sale and competed in quizzes to raise money to support those seeking MIND’s help in the wake of the pandemic.

Mind was chosen by staff with many knowing someone affected by the issues the charity aims to provide support for.

The charity is focused on providing advice and support to anyone experiencing mental health problems, receiving 119,000 calls in 2019

Data from the Office of National Statistics reports that 4,912 people died by suicide in 2020 in the UK

Duncan McCombie CEO at YES Energy Solutions said: “The mental health toll from the pandemic is huge and supporting charities that help those who need support is now more important than ever.”
