​Almost 28% of UK families are struggling to pay their energy bills

As energy bills continue to hit the UK hard almost three in ten families with children at home ‘struggle to pay energy bills’.

Furthermore it is believed that the new price cap will rise for millions of households subsequently energy deals have reached the highest level for more than two years.

Recent research conducted by compare the market shown that in addition to the families with children, 15% of those without are also struggling to pay their energy bills in the wake of Covid.

However due to the £180 increase on even the cheapest energy deals, it is estimated that households could save as much as £141 by switching tariffs before the arrival of the new price cap that will be announced in just a few days.
