The Mobile Advice Centre (MAC) is a free, community-focused service delivered by YES Energy Solutions in partnership with Cadent Gas Networks.
The Mobile Advice Centre (MAC) is a free, community-focused service delivered by YES Energy Solutions in partnership with Cadent Gas Networks. The MAC brings practical, confidential energy advice directly into local communities, supporting residents where they live.
Launched in 2024, the MAC is a fully wrapped Peugeot Boxer van, that travels to community centres, local events, foodbanks, social housing areas and schools. Within its first six months, it supported over 400 households. The goal is to make energy advice accessible, personal and convenient for everyone.
How It Works
Two trained YES Energy Advisors operate from inside the van each day. The MAC contains two private consultation areas, allowing residents to receive tailored one‑to‑one support.
If a venue prefers an indoor setup, the team can also run a tabletop advice session inside the building.
