If you live in Halifax and are feeling the pressure of rising energy prices, our team is here to help. We support households across Halifax in understanding what assistance may be available, including grants for insulation or heating improvements, benefit entitlement checks, and financial help to manage energy bills.

Our free support is available throughout Halifax and includes telephone-based energy advice, a free energy-saving pack with practical tools and easy-to-follow guidance, and optional detailed home energy efficiency reports for households that need additional support.

Calderdale Warm Homes Local Grant

YES Energy Solutions is working with Calderdale Council to help eligible households access improvements like insulation and heating upgrades, with little or no cost to pay.

If eligible, improvements are recommended following a home assessment and may include energy efficiency improvements including loft insulation, cavity or solid wall insulation, heating system upgrades and low-carbon heating like air source heat pumps, or solar panels. These upgrades aim to reduce heat loss, improve energy performance, and lower energy bills.

The scheme is delivered locally by YES Energy Solutions in partnership with Calderdale Council, providing clear guidance and support from application through to installation, with a focus on helping households stay warmer and reduce energy costs.
