Delivering effective retrofit improvements requires careful planning and coordination to ensure measures are suitable for each property and installed safely. PAS 2035 is the UK framework governing how domestic retrofit projects are assessed, designed and delivered.

It introduces a structured approach covering assessment, design, installation and monitoring to ensure improvements work together effectively. Our retrofit services support organisations to:

• Ensure compliance with PAS standards and funded scheme requirements

YES Energy Solutions recently worked with  North Yorkshire Council, fulfilling all PAS 2035 roles on a large multi-measure initiative spanning three districts. The programme supported hundreds of fuel-poor households, funded through the Government’s Sustainable Warmth Competition.

• 633 Retrofit Assessments were completed across a diverse range of housing stock
• 505 Medium-Term Improvement Plans were produced and distributed
• 422 households went on to receive retrofit works, with measures carefully selected and designed
• 752 energy saving measures were installed and lodged on the Trustmark database by our qualified Retrofit Coordinators

Due to its positive impact on fuel-poor householders, the project received industry-wide recognition, winning “Large Scale Project of the Year” at the 2023 Yorkshire and Humber Energy Efficiency Awards.
