Donna-Marie - Loft insulation

Donna-Marie who lives in Brighouse, recently had loft insulation installed into her property through our Calderdale LAD3 scheme.

Our team helped to qualify and install the insulation which was fully funded thanks to Calderdale Council.

We caught up with Donna-Marie to ask about her experience with the installation:

“I heard about the funding through a letter, because it was from the council I had a lot more trust in the scheme, I would have been more sceptical without knowing they were helping.

“Before installation, my living and work room was freezing, it’s much warmer now, in fact the whole house is warmer now I have insulation.

“I haven’t had the heating on at all which is a big bonus.

“It has even made a difference subconsciously; I don’t find myself worrying about bills as much now.”

Once she told us about the impact the insulation has had, Donna-Marie went on to explain how helpful our team has been:

“The whole team has been very respectful, the surveyor who came over was so nice.

“He went above and beyond by answering questions and giving me advice on energy.

“Tia, the lady who helped me qualify over the phone always kept me in the loop, she was approachable and generally amazing.”

Finally, Donna-Marie told us all about the team of installers who handled the installation:

“The installation was really quick and everything was left tidy afterward.

“Because I work from home, I was worried about there being too much noise but throughout the process I wasn’t interrupted.

“Honestly the whole thing has been really great”.
