Julie Thomas - Gas Boiler Replacement

Julie from Grimsby received a fully funded gas boiler from the South Humberside Energy Efficiency Partnership scheme.

Living on her own in a bungalow, Julie was relying on an old boiler that was very inefficient and costly to run.

“It was a big relief when I found out it was going to be fully funded. My old boiler was 46 years old!"

I’ve noticed a big difference, it’s lovely and warm. I put it on for an hour in the morning and then again at night. Before the new boiler I’d be in dressing gowns with hot waterbottles strapped to my belly!"

"It also helps with getting clothes and things dry in the winter, so it’s very handy."

We helped Julie through the validation process to receive funding and worked with our installer network to arrange a survey and install.

"I found everyone nice to get on with over the phone and the installers were great, they never made a mess at all, made sure they put plastic sheets down on my carpet and cleaned everything up after themselves."
